| Image by Norma Allison | | | Subject: Galaxy From:Linda Clarke Date: Fri, 24 Nov 2006 20:13:29 -0800Hi Darla, Pictured is MMR’s Galaxy, a RMHA registered Rocky Mountain Horse. In March, 2006 he and I enjoyed trail riding in the mountains near Palm Springs, California. Galaxy is sweet, a great trail horse and wants to please. I can’t think of a better horse to ride than a Rocky Mountain Horse from Mountain Magic Ranch. Linda Clarke, President, West Coast Rocky Mountain Horse Club (a RMHA Affiliate club) |

| | | Subject: Our Rockys From: T J Roberts Date: Sat, 27 Oct 2007Hi Darla, I have seen you on RFDTV and have emailed you before. We have 2 RMH and they are the greatest horses we have ever owned in 30 years of owning horses. They are more like best friends then horses. Gunner is my horse and we have the greatest rides that take all my worries of the day away and we just enjoy every minute together and I think both of our Rockys get upset if we don't ride them daily they expect it and want you to ride them. We also use bitless bridles. No metal in their mouth. |

Next year they should be in the equine search and rescue program they Love people and love to be ridden there is no better horse in the world then the RMH. I never have to beg my horses to come to me as a matter of fact I try to take pictures of them and you cant get them far enough away to get a good picture because they want to be with us. I've owned a lot of horses in 30 years and have had my Rockys for 3 years and they are the last horses I will ever own because they Love us so much and we Love them so much. True friends are hard to come by and if you ever get a Rocky you will have the best friend you could ever want. |

| | | Subject: Kato and Riddles Red Fox From: "Diana P Wade" Date: Mon, 13 Nov 2006 07:25:20 -0800 Hi Darla -- I just wanted to drop you a note about our babies. We took them to Paradise Ranch for their first major outing with other horses. Kato is such a doll. I really like him. He continues to have the horseanalty of my old Arab Kosby who turns 23 this spring. Kato is very willing, goes anywhere and does not get shook up. The first day out he was a bit slow but I took a lesson with Mindy and now I know exactly what he can do! He is great. |

| Red Fox was very good too. He was a bit of a handful for Doug the first day. He doesn't know how to conserve his energy yet, but the second day he was just beautiful. Doug also took a lesson with Mindy. He was grinning from ear-to-ear when he got back and is now a gaiting fool! He even said he would never ride anything other than a Rocky again! Again thanks for the blessings of a beautiful, well mannered horse! See you on the trail. Diana P. Wade, Disability Advocate, Lake Isabella, CA |
| | | | Subject: Solo and Bay From: Jen Date: Wed, 29 Nov 2006 Dear Darla,
Greg and the girls and I went on lots of family rides over the summer. Every one a memorable experience with our cherished Rockies! Solo is coming along nicely and so is Bay. They are naturals on the trail! They are surefooted, don't spook and go through water like fish. They love sticking their noses down in water and splashing back and forth. I didn't think it could be possible but I enjoy and adore my Bay more with every ride I take on her. I really think she enjoys trail riding as much as I do! THANKS, Jen P.S. Your newsletter is terrific. Keep up the good work! |
