| | We are pleased to announce that Darla Nassif has joined Mountain Magic Ranch as Director of Training. She brings more than 30 years of gaited horse training experience and has trained and shown winners at the The Rocky Mountain Horse International at the Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
Darla communicates her extraordinary natural horsemanship gentling techniques that have developed out of work she has done with H. T. Derrickson, John Lyons, Monty Roberts, Buck Brannaman, Roy Yates, Richard Shrake, Linda Tellington, Buck Buchanan and Liz Graves. "I've harbored a love of horses from the very first time I saw one grazing in a field as a child." Jessa confesses. Her horse career has included trail riding, hunter/jumper competitions peppered with a bit of cross country and dressage. As one of Mountain Magic Ranch's newest trainers she now has the opportunity to work with horses every day, learning more and more as the horses she works with in turn teach her to understand them better. "Since coming to Mountain Magic Ranch I've realized just how much I didn't know before and how much I have yet to learn from this wonderful Rocky Mountain Horse breed and from my great co-workers as well." Jessa says.

Joe Turner - Joe recently relocated to Three Forks, MT with his wife, Leah and 9 month old daughter, Briahna from central California where he owned and operated a horsemanship company. Joe's safety partnership techniques have helped both horses and their owners achieve a natural partnership that makes for a the unique relationship between horse and rider safe and fun. Joe's professional experience also includes setting up an equestrian center and curriculum for Yosemite High School and working in the therapeutic riding field. Joe continually strives to find new ways to understand and communicate with horses. His passions also include spending time with his family, telemark skiing, white water kayaking and hunting. |
